My name is Katie Mosher, owner of Canyon Canines, and I am so happy you're here!
Born and raised in upstate New York,
my husband and I moved to the Grand Valley in late Summer of 2021. We haven't looked back since and are so happy and proud to call Whitewater our home!
We truly lucked out on our property which sits approximately 1 mile from the main road on 10 acres, bordering public land. The privacy and space we have has allowed my dream to come true of owning and operating my own private dog boarding business. I do this for YOU! I know how gut-wrenching it is to leave your pet behind when you simply cannot take them on a trip with you. My husband and I have foregone countless vacations due to my inability to leave Arthur and Teddy in the care of others. I offer my services to give you peace of mind during your time away. I stand by "Katie Care" and give you my word your pup will be treated like a member of our family.
Our Dogs
TEDDY
Meet Teddy, our 3-year-old chocolate lab. He is a certified goofball and total lover. We adore Teddy Bear and he absolutely loves meeting new fur friends and showing them around his property. Teddy doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body and we have truthfully never seen him not get along with another dog. He takes such good care of his older English bulldog brother, Arthur, always comforting him with kisses and cuddles. Teddy's favorite things to do are: long hikes, road trips, and camping with Mom & Dad! We treasure our Teddy!
ARTHUR
Arthur is our 5-year-old beloved English bulldog. Where to begin with Arthur....He is a bully baby through and through. Stubborn, yet SO loveable and sweet. Arthur likes to live his life on island time. His favorite activity is sun-bathing! Once he finishes sun-bathing, its back to the couch for nap time! He looks forward to snuggles with his Dad all day long. Arthur enjoys being a part of the daily action but also unfortunately has his limitations due to his breed. Most of the time when we have fur guests, Arthur will quietly observe from the deck as Teddy gets everyone in play mode. Arthur loves his brother Teddy and the two can often be found cuddling and napping together.
